The Foundation
Strength Is the Foundation
Strength training sits at the center of the Reclaim Method. It is how you build strength, maintain muscle, and support the physical capability you rely on every day: carrying groceries, keeping up with your kids, getting up off the floor without thinking about it.
As we get older, muscle becomes easier to lose and harder to rebuild, which makes consistent strength training one of the most supportive things you can do for healthy aging. And there is a confidence that comes from physical progress that shows up well beyond the gym.

Fuel, Not Restriction
Nutrition Without Extremes
Nutrition coaching at BLAK is built around habits, not extreme diets. The focus stays on protein, whole foods, vegetables, fruit, hydration, meal structure, and portion awareness. These are consistent, flexible eating habits you can actually keep up with.
For some clients, meal timing strategies such as intermittent fasting may fit their lifestyle. It is offered as one optional, educational strategy for the people it fits. It is never a requirement. Learn more about BLAK Intermittent Fasting Coaching.
Train and Recover
Recovery Matters
Progress requires both training and recovery. The Reclaim Method treats sleep, rest days, stress, hydration, and workout recovery as part of the plan, not an afterthought. That means listening to your body and keeping training volume sustainable, rather than chasing "more is always better."

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the BLAK Reclaim Method?
The Reclaim Method is BLAK's coaching system for women 35 and older, built around six pillars: strength, movement, nutrition habits, recovery, consistency, and accountability. It starts with the free Reclaim Assessment and is adjusted to your body, your schedule, and where you are right now.
Who is the Reclaim Method for?
Women 35 and older who want to rebuild strength, improve fitness, build healthier routines, and create a sustainable approach to movement, nutrition, and recovery, whether you are starting again after time away, feel weaker than you used to, or want more consistency and accountability.
Is BLAK only for women over 40?
No. BLAK coaches women from their mid thirties through their late fifties and early sixties. The Reclaim Method is adjusted to your age, training history, and recovery needs.
Do I need fitness experience?
No. The Reclaim Method is built to start from where you are today, whether that is your first time strength training or a return after years away.
What if I have not exercised in years?
That is a common starting point for BLAK clients. Your plan is built around your current level and progresses gradually as you get stronger and more consistent.
Does the Reclaim Method include strength training?
Yes. Strength training is the foundation of the Reclaim Method, alongside movement, nutrition habits, recovery, consistency, and accountability.
Does BLAK provide nutrition coaching?
Yes, in the form of nutrition-habit coaching: protein, whole foods, hydration, meal structure, and portion awareness. BLAK does not provide medical nutrition therapy.
Does BLAK use intermittent fasting?
Intermittent fasting is offered as one optional, educational meal-timing strategy for clients it fits, never as a requirement. Learn more on the BLAK Intermittent Fasting Coaching page.
Do I need a gym?
No. Coaching is built around the equipment and setting you actually have access to, whether that is a home setup or a gym.
How often should I work out?
It depends on your starting point, recovery, and schedule. Many BLAK clients train three to four times a week for 30 to 45 minutes, built around a realistic routine rather than an extreme one.
What happens after I take the Reclaim Assessment?
You get your Reclaim Focus result, and you can book a free Reclaim Call with Maple to review your goals and priorities and talk through what coaching would look like for you.
